Wished you’d been around to go full-on Boy George (whether boy or girl) and attend club/catwalk Blitz in the ’80s? Well, unfortunately I don’t have access to a time-travelling telephone box but I do have two complimentary tickets to the V&A’s rad and retro exhibition, ‘Club to Catwalk: London Fashion in the 1980s’.
Due to close on 16 February, the exhibition explores the creative explosion of London fashion in the 1980s, showcasing more than 85 outfits from a period where club culture, music and couture combined with astonishing results. The major exhibition at the V&A museum of art and design features bold and fashion-forward looks by the most experimental young designers of the decade Calvin Harris deemed ‘acceptable’, including Betty Jackson, Katharine Hamnett, Wendy Dagworthy and John Galliano.
To be in with a chance of winning two tickets to the exhibition, simply head over to my Twitter page @nicetogeekyou, RT the comp and follow. Easy, right? Now VOGUE.
